Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (Preliminary FIRMs)
Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps show the one-perecent annual (100-year) flood boundary and 0.2-percent annual (500-year) floodplain boundaries. Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps are currently being reviewed for adoption by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Flood Insurance Program. However, they are not yet appropriate for regulatory use and should only be used for review, outreach, and planning purposes.

Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs)
Flood Insurance Rate Maps show the one-perecent annual (100-year) flood boundary and 0.2-percent annual (500-year) floodplain boundaries. Flood Insurance Rate Maps have been adopted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Flood Insurance Program for regulatory use. In some cases, Draft Flood Hazard Map data have completed review and become regulatory products. Therefore some regulatory Flood Insurance Rate Map data are displayed on this site. However, to ensure the most up to date information is being used, any data to be used for regulatory purposes should be accessed directly from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (https://www.fema.gov/).
